And I'm also going to add, I can confidently say none of the operators are in Canada. No recording, no keypad options, nothing but silence. I have called repeatedly today and their line doesn't even ring. I'm not even going to get into the details of my specific concern however I received an email this morning indicating that the (verbally approved) changes we had agreed would happen in 2 business days did not happen, and 5 business days later they emailed me to call them for more information. their customer service is not perfect but much better than Tangerine.Īs others have said, when nothing is wrong, there's nothing wrong, but it appears when there's an issue, they don't know how to handle it. Unbelievable If customer service is absolutely essential to you, stay away and go with the big banks. To add insult to injury, as i was addressing my frustration with Francisco, one of the customer service reps, he rudely cuts me off and transfers me to someone else. ![]() very frustrating, unprofessional as well as unacceptable and almost negates the positives that this bank has (no fees, rates, interest paid etc) You would think the higher ups or the powers to be would care about their customers after seeing the consistently BAD reviews on here and would fix things asap! this is just a bad representation of a company trying to entice potential new customers. definitely wishful thinking since i gave up after 2+ hours of wasting my time listening to a loop of muzac and the same annoying message of "all of our agents are busy." You would think for a company as large as it is, maybe hiring more customer service reps should be a top priority to handle the barrage of calls. as you can see from others who have posted, this is not a fabrication or an embellishment! My Credit Card was compromised so i called to hopefully get the issue resolved in maybe no more than 15-20 mins. being on hold for 2 hours is easily the norm. Customer service is the absolute WORST hands down. ![]()
